April 20 Is National Auctioneers Day!

Since 1996, the National Auctioneers Association (auctioneers.org) has designated the third Thursday of April as National Auctioneers Day, and a way to recognize the role auctions play in helping the flow of goods and services around the world. The root of the word Auctioneer comes from "auctus", which means increasing. Which is pretty much the definition of an auction—increasing offers or bids for a lot. Help celebrate auctioneers and auctions by bidding in any of our current auctions. And hopefully when the gavel falls you'll be the winner!
