John H. Turner | GPPA, CES., Owner, President and CEO

John is a certified Graduate Personal Property Appraiser (GPPA), licensed auctioneer, and Certified Estate Specialist (CES). A graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania School of Auctioneering, John has worked in the Auction and Antiques fields and has conducted property appraisals for estate purposes since 1980. He is a member in good standing of both the National Auctioneers Association and the Pennsylvania Auctioneers Association, and regularly attends continuing education seminars.

John’s long experience working with executors, administrators, attorneys, and senior property owners enables him to understand their needs and the needs of their clients and to handle the delicate matters of personal property liquidation with the expertise, consideration, and discretion that is key to a seamless and satisfying process for all.

John’s wide range of specialties includes Americana, folk art, Continental antiques, fine art, silver, jewelry, porcelains, and more.

Stephen Turner | Evaluator/Appraiser and Manager of Business Development

Steve graduated from Boston University in 2010 with degrees in both hospitality and business administration. His career has honed his understanding of customer service, as well as offering managerial experience in several luxury hotels across the country.

With Briggs Auction, Steve performs in-home evaluations of estates and collections for auction. His wide range of specialties includes Mid-Century Modern Design furnishings and decorative arts, Asian porcelains and antiques; and more. He also works with owners John & Janice Turner, and Bill Briggs to  develop customized, client-centered services for our lawyer and trust officer clients.

With more than 30 years of experience with antiques and collectibles, Kent has created a career out of a lifelong passion for collecting, and is able to work closely with clients throughout the selling process.

Kent performs in-home evaluations of estates and collections for auction, and specializes in ephemera, advertising, antiques, home furnishings, decorative arts, and more.

Lori Zytkowicz, Director of Real Estate

Lori has over 20 years of auction experience, having grown up in a family estate auction business in Montgomery County. She obtained her PA auctioneer license in 2008, and is a member of the Lehigh Valley chapter of the Pennsylvania Auctioneers Association, a member of the National Auctioneers Association, a board member of the Exton Region Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce, and the Chester County Estate Planning Council. Lori is also an instructor for the Reading Area Community College Auctioneering Certification Program.

Her 20+ years of sales and marketing experience enable Lori to aggressively market, and provide hands-on customer relations, for real estate sales for Briggs Auction, Inc.

A graduate of the Reading Area Community College Auctioneering Certification, Ken caught the collecting bug as a teenager and has worked in the auction and collecting fields since High School.

Ken performs in-home evaluations of special collections for auction, and specializes in records, books, ephemera, pop culture, and more.

An honors graduate of the Rosemont College MBA program and with a degree in Hospitality Management from Rutgers University, Stephanie combines her sharp business savvy and her natural people skills with a love of antiques and collecting.

As the Director of Client Services, Stephanie works closely with consignors and clients to assure a smooth and seamless auction experience.
